Pelargonium Elite Regal Series |
VARIETIES:
|
Alexia, Bravo, Coral, David, Imperial, Jeanette, Lavender Splash, Purple Majesty, Rosanna, Royalty White, Tony. Please check as varieties may differ between seasons. |
HABIT: |
This range has an upright mounding habit which makes the flowers all pop up from the top of the plant giving it a very ‘regal’ look. They are compact without any pruning and love to be in the garden or in pots. |
POSITION: |
Plant them where you need some hardy colour. They grow wonderful in garden beds as well as in pots and hanging baskets. Give them full sun to filtered shade to achieve maximum flower growth and vibrancy. |
FLOWERING: |
Flowering is short lived but intense. The blooms are big and full and last for a long period on the bush. Once finished flowering, give them a prune and fertiliser to encourage new growth. |
USES: |
They are best planted in pots or troughs with other plants too so they can all grow up together and give you staggered flowering for a long period. |
CARE: |
They can tolerate rough weather conditions but will preform best away from frost and extended dry periods. Give them average watering and fertilise regularly. Best to keep them drier over the cold months and make sure you remove any old flowers. |
