Phlox Elite Blueberry |

 |
HABIT:
|
Very compact perennial, more dwarf than any other variety on the market. Height 40cm high by 40cm wide. |
POSITION:
|
Full sun to part shade, protected from the harshest Summer sun. |
FLOWERING: |
Elite Blueberry will flower from October to May. Unlike inferior varieties Elite Blueberry holds its flowers on short stems for long periods and requires far less pruning to encourage new blooms. The flowers smother the plant almost continuously. |
USES: |
Wherever you need long term colour for the warmer weather. Phlox Elite easily out perform any other varieties on the market and in our trials flowered for more than twice as long as any other varieties, while remaining compact and not getting “leggy”. They are perfect for perennial borders and under planting of standard plants where they will stay squat and colourful. Ours did very well in containers. |
CARE: |
Use hedge shears to prune to shape occasionally over Summer, just avoid doing it during weeks of extreme heat. They will perform better and flower more profusely with average garden watering and a fertilize every season with an all-purpose slow release fertilizer, do not let dry out in pots. These Phlox were really impressive in trials. |
